Yoga Retreats

I'm happy to invite you to join my yoga retreat with your family!

Only 4 families will be at the retreat.
So please book ASAP to reserve your place!!!

There will be only 4 families - 8 parents and 4+ children. So, it will be a perfect group size to both practice yoga and have fun at the retreat center, or out exploring the nearby sights.

We will do yoga in the morning and afternoon. Then, there will be free time during the day for family time, or even for visiting Italian sights.

The beach and an amazing sea coast is 20 minutes away. The water is warm and safe for swimming.

Yoga and Movement Classes

During this retreat, we will explore Maya Yoga as a journey of self-discovery and powerful awakening:

Maya Yoga is a harmonious journey of physical, mental and spiritual practices and techniques to help guide you to happiness and wellbeing.

We adhere to the classic principles of the Hatha Yoga tradition while enriching our practice with the magic of other yoga methods and philosophy.

We work hard for your physical improvement, but, more importantly, we invite your yoga journey to become a spiritual path that will nourish your life with clarity, bliss and infinite love.

There may also be some free and guided movement during yoga, or in place of yoga classes upon group request.

Center

Puglia is a land between two seas, a crossroads of cultures and experiences, prepare to celebrate the best of each.

With its spaces for artistic creation and hospitality and an environment which facilitates harmony, La Luna nel Pozzo (The Moon in the Well) is an ideal location for this family yoga retreat.

La Luna nel Pozzo is a theater housed in a traditional stone “Masseria,” or farm-house, from the mid-nineteenth century. It is a cultural center nestled among the majestic olive trees in the Puglian countryside near Ostuni.

The name expresses a hope for an oasis which can nourish new art forms, creating opportunities for fruitful creative encounters, where one can find the environment, and the time, to realize one’s desires.

Highlights of our home for the week:

  • Indoor yoga studio with wood floor
  • A stone amphitheater of antique Greek design, with a 12m diameter stage
  • Cretan labyrinth of traditional stonework (20m diameter), for meditation, discussion, writing and inspiration
  • 6 Hectares of olive groves

Location

Puglian culture is a blend of passion and simplicity, with focus on family and friendship. People take time to greet one another and pursue friendly conversation.

Puglian food is based on a variety of seasonal fresh vegetables, meats, cheeses and fish, prepared in simple but delicious methods.

The weather is wonderful, with abundant sunshine -it is hot in the summer and cool in the winter, but there is rarely a week without lots of sunshine - and the beautiful light that is created when the sky is overcast but the horizon is sunny.

Ostuni is one of the most beautiful and famous towns in Apulia. Its unique historic town, called "Città Bianca" (the Italian for "white town"), its monuments, its baroque-style churches, are examples of great architecture and culture

The so-called "Old Town" is Ostuni's citadel built on top of a hill and still fortified by the ancient walls. Ostuni is regarded as an architectural jewel, and is commonly referred to as "the White Town" ("La Città Bianca", in Italian) for its white walls and its typically white-painted architecture.
